The calm before the storm... sometimes one can sense the onset of anxiety or depression, well before it hits the body.
During that moment, there is a rise in confusion and the fight or flight response.
And sometimes, it is followed by nostalgia: the remembrance of a time when obstacles were overcome and lessons were learned.
Take this as a sort of “6 months later” epilogue at the end of a film. There is no finality, but rather a continuation in progress.
lyrics
Where is it,
The void where I've stuffed
All of my anxieties,
Where they're all cooped in,
Knotted up,
Tied and contorted
When will I find the time,
Find the faith, integrity,
To endure the pain
I owe
(To endure the pain I owe)
How do I get there,
To that place,
(Tell me) how do I get there,
To that place,
(Tell me) how do I get there to,
To that place,
Oh I, I don't know
(Tell me) how do I get there,
To that place,
(Tell me) how do I get there to,
To that place,
Tell me how,
Oh I, I don't know
Are you sure
You're the one who'll stop me
From falling down this rabbit hole,
To the point where I don't know
Where to start throwing out,
Unpacking, untangling,
How will I make this house
My home
And live,
Embrace,
Abound in this space,
Lift up my helm
And unveil
An unconventional state of grace
So tell me
How do I get there,
To that place,
(Tell me) how do I get there,
To my grave,
(Tell me) how can I be afraid
If it's safe,
Cause you said you'd lie there
In my place
(Tell me) how do I get there,
To that place,
(Tell me) how do I get there to,
To my grave,
(Tell me) how can I be afraid
Cause you said you'd lie there
In my place

This album kept me floating and light during times when my anxiety was at it's peak. The only other album I could think of that has had that effect on me is Vulnicura by Bjork. Joy Morales
